Health Care Construction Certificate
At a date to be determined, all contractors performing construction work in a University of Missouri Health Care facility will be required to employ supervisory staff possessing a valid Health Care Construction Certificate (HCC). The HCC certificate workshop shall be administered by the American Society for Health Care Engineering of the American Hospital Association (www.ashe.org) or an equal program approved by the University. This requirement applies to all contractors, (GC’s, electrical, mechanical, elevator, etc.) who hold a direct contract with the University. At a minimum, supervisory personnel shall be the contractor’s project manager and superintendent.
